Pay attention to the following points during the use of the bolt:

(1) There are certain requirements for the bolt tightening torque of special parts. When tightening the bolts, be sure to tighten them in accordance with the tightening torque of the technical requirements. If the bolt is tightened too loosely, it will affect the joint quality between the part and the part, causing the bolt to loosen. If the tightening is too tight, it will cause excessive deformation of the joint and the plastic deformation of the bolt due to the tightening torque exceeding the bolt tensile strength limit. There are many bolts on special parts of the car 1, such as connecting rod fixing bolts, crank bush fixing bolts, cylinder head fixing bolts, etc., which are bolts with special tightening torque requirements. When tightening, they must be tightened according to the tightening torque required by the technical requirements.

(2) When there are multiple bolts between the parts and parts, they should be tightened to the specified torque in order and in strict accordance with the tightening procedure of the bolts. Otherwise, the deformation and warpage of the workpiece will be caused, and some of the bolts will not be installed due to deformation and warpage of the workpiece, thereby seriously affecting the joint quality between the parts. For example, the engine cylinder head fixing bolts should be tightened to the final specified torque alternately from the two ends of the cylinder head to the middle four times according to the specified torque. Only in this way can the even and smooth connection between the cylinder head and the cylinder block be effectively ensured. If not, it will cause water leakage and other conditions.

(3) The length of the bolted thread must reach the specified joint thread length. The length of the bolted joint thread directly affects the tensile strength and yield limit of the bolt, thus affecting the joint quality of the bolt. In actual work, there is often a phenomenon in which the tightening time is shortened by the method of padding and capping when tightening the connecting bolt with the threaded buckle of the workpiece. This practice will shorten the length of the bolted joint thread, thereby affecting the joint quality of the bolt and, in severe cases, causing the slider of the joint thread. In addition, there are also a phenomenon in which a plurality of bolts are connected between the workpieces due to the lack of coupling bolts or the bolts are omitted to save installation time. Missing bolts will seriously affect the joint quality of the workpiece, and bury a great accident hazard, which is never allowed in actual work.
