At the onset of the ball-forming period, the leaf surface is concave and convex, the veins have brown spots, the plants are dwarfed, and even the ball is not formed. The virus occurs and spreads by aphid reproduction and juice transmission in the case of high ground temperature, low rainfall, and poor plant root development.
Control method: Under the premise of selecting disease-resistant varieties and timely sowing to ensure that the Chinese cabbage has sufficient growth period, in the drought and rainy years, pay attention to watering during the seedling period to reduce the soil temperature and preserve the seedlings. In the rosette period, it is necessary to lightly seed or not seedlings, and spray the planting spirit to kill the cockroach in time.
Second, downy mildew. After the rosette period, the incidence is heavier. Symptoms are watery spots on the leaves and yellowish brown spots on the veins. In severe cases, the lesions are contiguous and the leaves die. The disease is a fungal disease, and spores are spread by wind and rain. Warm and humid is beneficial to the disease.
The prevention and treatment method is: mainly based on agricultural control, combined with chemical control. During the period of the core, the southwest winds are continuously watered to reduce the air humidity. In the early stage of the disease, spray 40% ethylphosphorus aluminum 150-200 times solution, or 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder 500-600 times solution, spray once every 7 days for 2 - 3 times.
Third, soft rot. Also called "rotten". In the early stage of the disease, the base of the cabbage was formed into a water-immersed yellowish infiltrating area, which gradually turned into a yellow-brown color, which was sticky and soft, and the leaves were wilting. Finally, the rhizome was rotted and had a stench. The disease is caused by soft rot bacteria. When the temperature and humidity are high, the bacteria multiply quickly.
The control method is: sorghum cultivation, good drainage, smooth ventilation; timely sowing to prevent premature aging; long ridges and short irrigation, timely drainage after rain, and removal of diseased plants before irrigation to reduce the spread of pathogens. If the disease has occurred, it can be used 150-200 mg/kg of agricultural streptomycin or 200 mg/kg of neo-phytomycin. Focus on the soft rot strain and its surrounding petiole, and try to make the liquid into the cabbage.
