The overall technical level will enter the international advanced ranks, and some products will be internationally leading; the establishment of complete functional components research and development and supporting capabilities; The enterprise is the technological innovation system combining the production, learning and research; cultivating and establishing a high-quality research and development team; 80% of the high-end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment required for aerospace, shipbuilding, automobile and power generation equipment manufacturing are based in China.

In order to more accurately and comprehensively grasp the latest developments in the industry, to further understand the needs of key users and the development of the machine tool industry, and to provide a reference for special implementation, the China Machine Tool Industry Association was commissioned by the Industry Department of the National Development and Reform Commission to organize more than 30 Industry experts, from June to July 2008, led by the main leaders of the Machine Tool Association, divided into four research groups for a special survey of 61 companies and institutions in the aviation, shipbuilding, automotive, power generation equipment and machine tool industries. Through in-depth industry user site research and communication, the development of these user industries, the characteristics of typical parts and the demand for equipment are more clearly understood.

1 Aviation industry

The structural features of typical parts of the aerospace industry are that a large number of monolithic wall structures are used and the shape is complex. In order to increase the mobility of the aircraft, increase the payload and range, reduce the cost, carry out lightweight design and extensive use of new lightweight materials, and the material performance requirements are getting higher and higher. A large number of aluminum alloys, high-temperature alloys, titanium alloys, high-strength steels, composite materials, engineering ceramics, etc. are now used. The thin-walled parts and honeycomb parts with complicated structure have complex shapes, holes, holes, grooves, reinforcing ribs, etc., and the process rigidity is poor.

According to the structural characteristics and processing requirements of the aerospace industry, it is necessary to have a five-axis linkage machining center with A, B swing angle or A and C swing angles, a high-speed machining center, a large double-gantry vertical machining center, and a large-scale CNC gantry milling machine. 2 Shipbuilding industry

The key machining parts of large ships are concentrated in the bases, frames, cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, piston rods, crossheads, connecting rods, crankshafts, and gearbox drive shafts, rudder shafts and propellers (propellers) of high-power diesel engines. The key processing parts are made of special alloy steel, which is generally processed in small batches and requires a processing yield of 100%. The key workpieces are characterized by large weight, complex shape, high precision and high processing difficulty. The processing of key parts of large ships requires high-power, high-torque, high-reliability and multi-axis heavy-duty, ultra-heavy CNC machine tools and special-purpose machine tools, such as heavy-duty, super-heavy-duty CNC gantry milling machines, large-scale windmill beds, CNC heavy-duty gantry milling and Heavy duty CNC floor shovel, CNC, grinding machine, deep hole drilling machine, as well as large steel plate pressing, pickling, heat treatment and flame cutting machine. Among them, heavy-duty, super-heavy crankshafts and large-scale propellers are typical, requiring ultra-heavy-duty CNC special machine tools and ultra-heavy multi-axis linkage machines.

3 Automotive Industry

4 Power industry

The key processing parts of power generation equipment are heavy in weight, special in shape, high in precision, difficult to process, and expensive. The price of a single piece far exceeds the price of a heavy-duty CNC machine tool. For example, the pressure vessel of a nuclear power plant weighs 400~500t, and the rotor of a large steam turbine and generator weighs more than 100t, requiring reliable operation for more than 30 years. Therefore, the machine tools required for the manufacture of key components of power generation equipment are large specifications, high rigidity, and high reliability. Requires a variety of super heavy duty CNC machine tools and special machines, such as large CNC vertical lathes, large CNC horizontal lathes, CNC floor milling and boring machines, gantry milling machines and machining centers, CNC drilling machines, etc., as well as large pressing equipment and CNC pipe bending machines. . For some specific machining parts, the machine is required to have multi-axis control five-axis linkage and compound machining functions.
