No pump spray booth introduction
The pumpless spray booth is an innovative system that utilizes air-induced water to create a continuous water curtain. This method effectively captures and removes paint mist from the air during the spraying process. As the air containing paint particles comes into contact with the water curtain, it enters a gas-water passage where it is thoroughly mixed with the water.
Once the air reaches the gas collection box, its flow rate decreases abruptly, allowing for efficient separation of the gas and liquid. The purified air then passes through a filter and is expelled into the atmosphere via an exhaust fan. Meanwhile, the separated water is collected in a tank and flows into an overflow chamber. From there, it overflows onto a flooding plate, forming a new water curtain that returns to the main water tank, creating a closed-loop system.
To enhance the efficiency of the system, a special flocculant is added to the circulating water. This chemical helps to alter the adhesion properties of the paint mist, causing it to clump together into larger particles or sludge, which can be easily removed and cleaned.
This technology not only improves air quality in the workspace but also reduces water consumption and maintenance efforts. It's a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for industries that rely on spray painting processes.
