MODE button click to introduce

The first thing that comes to mind with the scientific calculator is the four buttons on either side of the arrow keys. The two on the left believe that many people often use the SHIFT button and ALPHA (this button will be introduced later), and the MODE button on the right is a lot of people. Not often used, so there may not be a lot of understanding of it. Let me start for everyone.

Pressing the MODE button will display 1 (COMP), 2 (SD), and 3 (REG), which is the specified calculation mode. COMP is a basic arithmetic operation, SD is a standard deviation, and REG is a regression calculation. The basic arithmetic operation is also the addition and subtraction multiplier, and sometimes includes more advanced operations, such as percentage, square root, and so on. The standard deviation calculation mode can do almost all the data of statistical calculation. The calculation process can be carried out according to the following figure. Of course, the SD mode must be entered first, that is, the mode key 2 enters the SD mode. To be added here, the standard deviation is the sample standard deviation. Below I will introduce the use process. After entering the mode, first enter the data to be calculated, here is an example: 55,54,55,51,53,53,54,52; the input process in SD mode is 55 DT (see the figure below) 54 DT 55 DT 51 DT 53 DT 53 DT 54 52 DT then starts the calculation. Regression calculation is a statistical analysis method to determine the quantitative relationship between two or more variables. It is not developed here, and the calculation is complicated. This is the engineer they want to make.

Attentive friends will notice that there is a CLR written in yellow with the MODE button. This is the data clear button. The procedure to start it is to press SHIFT and then press CLR. Three clearing modes will appear. If you select 2, Clear mode, select 3 to clear all.

Introduction of MODE button twice

When MODE is pressed twice, 1 (DEG), 2 (RAD), and 3 (GRA) will appear. Deg is the meaning of "degree" in the angle, Rad is the meaning of "radian" in the angle, Gra is the meaning of "gradient" in the angle, and the latter two are concepts that will appear in college mathematics. I am not very good at mathematics. I won't say it, specifically how to operate it. Have you found out that the DEG D indicator is always on, and the default is selected when the calculator is turned on, so it can be understood as a decimal representation. In short, for the average person, the function that MODE appears twice is basically useless.

Introduction of MODE button three times

At this time, 1 (Fix), 2 (Sci), and 3 (Norm) appear. Fix refers to the number of decimal points reserved, Sci refers to the number of reserved digits in scientific notation, Norm refers to the regular mode (it seems useless), for these functions, if you have nothing to do, do not choose, we basically do not use When you arrive, and you choose to worry about how to recover later, the easiest way is to press the reset button, otherwise you will select the third NORM by three times, and this will be restored.

Other less common buttons are introduced:

The red ABCDEF is a hexadecimal representation number;

nCr is arranged and combined;

Pol (which is a complex calculation button for converting Euler and general);

By pressing the RCL button, the user can recall the data originally stored in the calculator's memory. The RCL button is usually present with the STO button. The STO button can tell the data currently displayed on the calculator screen to be written to the memory, and the RCL is the reverse of this process;

Eng: Turned into scientific notation (it seems to be a useless button).
