Artificial cultivation method of rush

Artificial Cultivation Method of Rush Grass: The primary breeding method involves using ramets, which are vegetative parts of the plant that can grow into new plants. This technique is efficient and ensures consistent quality in the yield.

1. Land Selection and Preparation: Choose paddy fields that are well-drained and easy to irrigate. Plow the field thoroughly, break up the soil, level it, and apply organic manure as a base fertilizer. This helps enrich the soil and provides essential nutrients for the plant’s growth.

2. Planting: The best time for planting is during spring. Dig up the old rhizomes (underground stems) and divide them into 8–10 sections, each containing a few buds. These are then planted in rows spaced 30–45 cm apart, similar to how rice is planted. Proper spacing allows for adequate sunlight and air circulation, promoting healthy growth.

Field Management:

1. Weeding and Cultivation: The first weeding should be done in March or April when the seedlings start growing. At this stage, the old rhizomes can be pressed into the mud to encourage new growth. A second weeding is recommended in June to remove any unwanted weeds that might compete for nutrients and water.

2. Fertilization and Irrigation: Fertilization is usually done together with weeding, twice a year. The main fertilizer used is animal manure, with some chemical fertilizers added if needed. During the seedling stage, it's important to maintain a shallow layer of water to support the plant’s development. With proper care, the rush grass can be harvested continuously for 3–4 years.

Harvesting and Processing:

Rush grass is typically harvested in autumn when the shoot tips begin to dry out. After drying the cut stalks slightly, they are tied with large bamboo needles. The rush grass is placed between two bamboo sticks, and the needle is used to pierce the stem. By pulling both ends of the bamboo in opposite directions, the core (or "lamp heart") is extracted. This core is then twisted into a small handle and dried thoroughly. Once dried, the rush grass is bundled, stored in a dry place, and kept away from pressure to maintain its quality and shape.

Medium Link Chain

As a common transmission force device, the stainless steel chain reduces friction through the "chain" design of the hyperbolic arc, and is used in places where the power is relatively large and the running speed is relatively slow, which has obvious advantages over belt transmission, such as Tanks, pneumatic compressors, etc., but the transmission speed can not be too fast, because the flexibility of the chain is not as good as the belt transmission.
