When designing mechanically, we often need to draw mechanical holes according to design requirements. So how do you draw mechanical holes using CAD software? Below, we will take Haochen CAD Machinery 2011 software as an example to introduce how to draw mechanical holes. In the CAD drawing below (Figure 1), we can see the single hole tool of Haochen CAD Machinery 2011 that has been positioned in advance. Take the counterbore on the left side as an example. Click the [Single Hole] tool, or enter [DK] on the command line. The command line will indicate the type of hole (single hole, double hole, threaded hole). We select the double round hole, input [2] in the command line, then input the inner hole and outer hole diameter in the dialog box (as shown in Figure 2), the software will generate a double circular hole pattern according to our settings. In the same way, you can draw round holes and threaded holes (see Figure 3).
