The equipment is designed to work with a power supply of AC 380V ±10% at 50±0.5Hz, using a three-phase five-wire system. Proper wiring is crucial for safe and effective operation. Here are the key steps to connect the power supply correctly:
1. Before connecting the test chamber, confirm the size of the external power supply and ensure that the main circuit breaker can handle the equipment’s power requirements.
2. Use a multimeter to check that the voltage is within the acceptable range (±10%). The voltage between phase lines should be 380V, and between phase and neutral lines should be 220V. If everything is normal, turn off the main switch.
3. Connect the machine’s neutral wire (blue N-line) to the neutral terminal in the distribution box. Ensure the neutral line is correctly connected; otherwise, the device may not operate or could damage internal components.
4. Securely connect the machine’s ground wire to the grounding terminal in the distribution box.
5. Connect the three-phase lines (R, S, T) of the machine to the three terminals at the bottom of the main switch in the distribution box, and tighten the Screws properly.
Important Note: Most constant temperature and humidity test chambers are equipped with phase sequence protection. If the phase sequence is incorrect, the device will not power on. In such cases, you can swap the positions of any two of the three phase lines to correct the sequence and meet the chamber’s requirements.
