Acceptance details for wooden doors and windows and aluminum windows

When inspecting wooden doors and windows, it's essential to pay close attention to the details. Here are some key points to consider:

1. The appearance should be visually appealing. The surface paint should be smooth, glossy, and free from defects like peeling, bubbling, or wrinkling. There should be no signs of corrosion, dead knots, or imperfections. The wood used for the door and window frame should match in color and grain with the sash. Any significant color difference or mismatch in wood species should be avoided.

2. Doors and windows must not be warped or deformed. The sash should fit perfectly into the frame without any gaps. If there is a misalignment, it may be due to incorrect planing or an uneven frame. In such cases, re-plan the sash or adjust the frame as needed. If the frame is not vertical, use shims to correct its position.

3. Hinge placement is crucial. Hinges must be installed accurately and securely. If they are not aligned properly, the door may not open smoothly. Adjust by loosening the screws slightly, realigning the door, and then tightening the screws again. Ensure that all screws are long enough and straight, and avoid twisting them during installation.

4. The door lock should function smoothly. The locking mechanism should engage correctly between the door leaf and the frame. If the lock is not installed properly, it can cause the door to feel stiff or unresponsive. Adjust the lock tongue groove if necessary and ensure the door opens in the correct direction.

5. The door and window cover should have a solid base. For example, when using blockboard or MDF, the base panel must be fixed to the frame before nailing. For wooden doors, the frame should be planed, straightened, and assembled before attaching the base board and veneer. Tap the side panels—if you hear an empty sound, it means the base layer is missing and needs to be redone.

For aluminum alloy doors and windows, the following checks are important:

1. The installed doors and windows should close tightly with even gaps. The deviation between the sash and frame should not exceed 2 mm, and the opening should be smooth and easy to operate.

2. When sliding doors and windows, check that the track is flat and even. Gently push the door or window to ensure it slides freely without resistance.

3. The vertical and horizontal frames of balcony aluminum windows must be firmly fixed to the railing and top of the balcony. Use nails or rivets, and reinforce with angle steel if necessary. Avoid fixing on brick walls or using wooden wedges instead of nail guns. Fill the gap between the upper track and the guardrail with cement mortar to prevent water leakage.

4. The wall thickness of the aluminum window profile should be at least 1.2 mm, while the door profile should be no less than 2 mm. The joint between the frame and the wall should be at least 1.5 mm thick to ensure structural integrity.
